CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 Display Preview - Soiltek S60

The largest equipment show in North America, CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014, is approaching quickly. The show will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center on March 4-8, 2014.

Hammer & Steel will have a booth full of new and interesting equipment in the Platinum Lot, # P8854.

The compact Soiltek S60 Drilling Rig will be among the innovative tools we will have on display. The S60 combines high performance drilling capabilities which can be configured in several formats to meet your specific job requirements.

The S60 is quickly and easily transported to the job site as a legal load with a shipping weight under 37,000# and transport width of only 6' 10". Preparing the S60 for operation on site requires only a few minutes.

The versatile S60 machine includes a segmented mast which can be assembled in 3 lengths for a variety of headroom conditions and drilling depths. The short-mast configuration allows for work in limited headroom applications of only 16' 10", with a max. drilling depth of 29'. The longer mast configurations and Kelly Bar Sets provide drilling depths up to 65'.

The S60 Rotary provides a powerful output torque of 52,000 ft. lbs. Drilling capabilities are enhanced by high strength steel Round Locking Kelly Bar Sets. A CFA kit is also available for limited headroom Auger-Cast piling applications.
