CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 Display Preview - Comacchio Drilling Rigs
The clock is ticking as CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2014 is quickly approaching. You will find Hammer & Steel at booth P8854, in the Platinum Lot. The show will be located at the Las Vegas Convention Center taking place March 4 - 8, 2014.
We will be featuring 2 Comacchio Anchor Drilling Rigs in our booth equipped with Comacchio and Eurodrill Rotary Units as well as a display for the all new Eurodrill High Frequency Drifter.;
The Comacchio MC 8 D (formally MC 602) is a limited access drilling rig which can meet your specific job site conditions with a removable diesel power unit, telescopic mast, and optional mast extension.
The MC 8 D will also feature Comacchio's new R2400F Low Profile Rotary which produces 17,690 ft. lb. of torque and allows for drilling as close as 8.5" on center to walls or other obstructions while still allowing the use of the clamp and break device.

Comacchio MC 22 HT (formally MC 1200) is a very powerful and versatile drilling rig which features Comacchio's patented "Face of the Wall" mast articulation system and extractor clamps. The MC 22 HT on display will include a Comacchio CT 36A top head and Eurodrill RH 2100 bottom head in a rotary-rotary double head system.
The Comacchio machines will both include Tier 4 final engines meeting all current emissions standards and feature the best radio remote control packages available.
Also on display in our booth will be the all new Eurodrill RHV 2400 High Frequency Drifter. This unit provides high production rates and lower torque requirements for a wide range of overburden drilling conditions.
Also available for the RHV 2400 is the VMS system which transfers all the vibration to the casing while allowing the use of a down hole hammer.
