- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
- Support the development, implementation, and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and perform variance analyses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist in audits, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting function and recommend solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and company policies.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant professional experience within public accounting or a corporate accounting department.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred requirements:
- CPA designation (or progress toward CPA) is preferred but not required.
- Solid background with computerized accounting systems, experience with Dynamics GP preferred but not required.
- Experience leveraging technology to streamline financial operations and drive strategic decision-making.
Total Compensation & Benefits Package:
- Highly competitive base salary - $60,000 - $70,000/ per year
